FERRARI BY TAG

The passions that Ferrari has been able to create around the world has made it represent the symbols of Sports and Competition expressed at the highest level.

It is for this reason that the passionate owners of a Ferrari always want the best, both in performance and in quality.

TAG Electronic has developed, even for the most demanding customer, specific mapping for each type of vehicle: Racing Cars (FIA GT, GT Open, ALMS), street cars with tailored mappings with personalized characteristics at various degrees. Each Ferrari car is individually and specifically addressed, resulting in a UNIQUE mapping.

For each Ferrari car we have developed a high-performance mapping. We corrected, where required, small supply failures, improved torque values and maximum power, in order to improve the sports character of these cars.

For models F355, 360 Modena, F430 and the very recent 599 FIORANO we have developed special mappings suiting the installation of exhaust systems with and WITHOUT catalytic converters.

430 SCUDERIA model! For this Maranello’s jewel, TAG ELECTRONIC has developed a special mapping. The new mapping, available for both versions, with or without catalytic converter, gives the Maranello’s V8 engine of the SCUDERIA an incredible power perceptible even at very low speed, reaching its climax only when stopped by the riffs controller, highlighting the exceptional speed of the gear power shift of this car.

A new mapping for the 458 ITALIA model is available since December 2009. Different software versions are available for this model. For example, the special version aimed at the V8 direct injection version with “racing” catalytic converter, boosts the power of the car by 52 cv at 7000 riffs. The riffs controller for this version is calibrated at 9000 riffs. A new “revised” version of the software which comes with the CHALLENGE model of the 458 ITALIA is available since January 2011, tunable in each of its parameters.

Special mappings are available for the CHALLENGE STRADALE and CHALLENGE PISTA models of the 360 MODENA, the F430 CHALLENGE and for the F430 GT3. TAG ELECTRONIC has developed special mappings which optimize the gear power shift.

For 2010, Ferrari has come out with a road version of the 599 XX, called 599 GTO manufactured in limited number with 599 units only. TAG ELECTRONIC has developed two new versions of the software for this high performance car. Both versions are also available for use with “racing” catalytic converters and sports exhausts. The riffs controller is calibrated at 8850 riffs – 8500 riffs as standard – whereas for the V12 version its power is boosted by an average of 40 cv. Thus, the GTO reaches 710 cv! After each intervention it is always possible to run without any problem diagnosis operations using original Ferrari equipment. Noteworthy is the fact that modifications to the Central Units are not detectable through any kind of diagnosis, or through a physical check of the same.
